历史简介:我们走过的道路

兴化人来自福建省的莆田市(包括莆田、仙游、福清县南部),大家言语相同,日常操讲一种独特而仍保存着中原古音的方言,叫做兴化话或莆仙话。约莫是在十九世纪的末叶,前贤们或只身孤影,或三五成群抵达雪兰莪。他们凭着天赋的体力,早期多数从事苦力工作,或经营脚车生意及矿务,慢慢成为零件商或电器行业。

1935年
早在1934年,雪兰莪自由车商会中的兴化同乡已酝酿组识乡会,由杨兆琰担任筹委会主席。发起人包括姚金榜、王元勋、黄文棋、关龙金、童敏、彭玉珍。翌年,雪兰莪兴安会馆正式成立。先后借用机合巴士有限公司和雪兰莪自由车商会为临时办事处。
本会创会的宗旨是 :1.联络乡情 2.开办学校。

1939年
以1万3千元买下吉隆坡戏院街6号店屋作为会所。创会功臣杨兆琰连任会长。

1941年12月8日
太平洋战争爆发,日军侵略马来亚。本会暂停活动三年零八个月,会所被舟山造船所征用,直至日本投降时始交还。

1945年8月15日
日本投降,马来亚光复。杨兆琰再出任会长,积极推展复办工作,筹款装修会所。

1946年1月1日
姚瑞汉接任会长,举行抗战胜利庆祝会、理事就职典礼及第一次新年团拜。

1946年10月10日
举行会所开幕典礼。中国驻隆领事许孟雄主持剪彩。

1947年2月15日
赞助宋元模主编的《兴化文献》面世,全书近廿六万言,获学术界好评。开办南侨机工夜学,以协助因离马参加抗战而失学的各籍青年,供彼等就读。

1948年
王元勋接任会长

1949年9月30日
向英殖民地政府申请重新注册,3年后始获正式批准。响应雪兰莪中华大会堂的号召,反对英殖民政府对华人不利的法案,包括移民(统制)法令以及回马签证条例,主张废除方言学校的宾尼斯氏教育报告书,议会语言限制,鸦片烟公卖等等。积极鼓励会员申请公民权,收效几近百分之百。

1957年
卢绍继任会长

1957年8月31日
马来亚获得独立。我兴安同乡亦顺应潮流,愿意放弃原有的国籍,向马来亚效忠。

1959年
以1万6千元向吉隆坡三教堂购买十五碑两块地段作为兴建会所之用。

1963年
印尼实施对抗政策。本会誓为政府后盾,鼓励同乡青年参加民防地方军团,捍卫国土。

1964年2月1日
成立体育部,由徐金栋教导武术,参加者逾百人。

1966年
王堂鎔升任代会长。翌年正式当选为会长。十五碑四层大厦开始兴建,建筑费22万4千元。

1967年10月10日
第一次颁发会员子女奖励金。

1969年5月13日
吉隆坡发生513种族骚乱。

1969年6月8日
召开特别会员大会修改章程,将产业受托人减为四名:拿督王廷杰、杨理、卢绍、王堂鎔。

1969年9月12日
分发513骚乱救济金1万零9百元。

1970年
童玉锦当选为会长,十五碑新厦竣工,租给云华酒店,每月租金2千3百元。

1971年10月
主办兴总第一届全国代表大会。

1972年7月3日
兴总筹委会在马六甲成立,童玉锦当选为财政。

1974年
兴总设立大学贷学金,本会捐献8000元。为配合国庆,会庆改在每年8月31日举行。

1974年2月1日
吉隆坡被划为联邦直辖区,为中央政府直接管辖。本会亦易名为雪隆兴安会馆。

1975年
杨锦福任代会长。

1976年
杨锦福出任会长。

1978年9月
主办兴总第九届代表大会兴安企业(马)有限公司成立,招股780万元,在斗湖种植可可。本会召开特大通过投资5万元。

1979年11月6日
本会最沉痛的一天。会长杨锦福壮年身故。前会长卢绍病逝。两位前会长同日举殡,教人怅然共悲。

1979年12月27日
青年团正式诞生。

1979年12月30日
关光明当选为会长。

1981年8月14日
召开特别会员大会,反对社团修正法令;决定与总会采取一致步伐,申请登记为政治性团体。

1982年10月17日
青年团承办兴青总团成立千人晚宴及第一届理事就职典礼,并出版纪念特刊。

1984年6月
迁往十五碑三教堂楼上充作临时办事处。

1984年7月
改建戏院街五层新厦举行动土仪式。

1984年8月10日
青年团主办、总团协办《领袖训练研讨会》,在美马高原举行。

1985年7月6日
全盘修改本会章程,获注册官批准。

1985年11月30日
吉隆坡戏院街会所新厦落成及庆祝50周年会庆,并出版金禧纪念特刊。

1985年12月1日
主办兴总第十六届全国代表大会。

1986年
拿督张德麟继任为会长。拿督张献捐10万元将二楼之露天地方改建成一个大礼堂,命名为“张金钗大礼堂”,以纪念其先父张金钗。

1987年11月29日
妇女组正式成立。

1990年3月17日
联合兴总假吉隆坡天后宫举行“金树之夜”,欢送兴总会长拿督林金树荣休,并欢迎童玉锦局绅荣任兴总会长。

1990年4月
龚承烈接任会长,并献捐3万元装修楼下礼堂,命名为承烈堂。

1994年
黄金禄接任会长。

1996年
黄玉添局绅接任会长。

1998年
庄玉霖局绅担任会长。

2000年11月19日
与马来西亚华文作家协会联办第七届亚细安文艺营,在吉隆坡中华大会堂举行开幕礼。

2001年
妇女组主办拿督童玉锦全国兴安同乡《孝亲敬老征文赛》。

2001年4月22日
青年团举办第一届兴安杯雪州中学华语辩论比赛。

2002年
首次出版会讯。

2002年4月17日
“雪隆兴安会馆合唱团”正式成立。

2002年10月
妇女组主办庄玉霖局绅全国《孝亲敬老征文赛》。

2002年4月
陈春德局绅接任会长。

2003年6月
设立藏书万册的兴安图书馆,由财政部副部长拿督黄燕燕主持开幕。

2003年10月
假吉隆坡Istana酒店主办福联会代表大会及68周年会庆晚宴,由时任首相阿都拉主持开幕。

2004年6月
出版《兴安文丛》,每年出版一辑,每辑6册。

2004年11月
举办第一届《兴安文学营》。

2005年9月3日
举行成立70周年联欢晚宴,并出版特刊。

2006年
翁清玉出任会长。

2008年
兴青舞蹈团以“回到源头”舞,获得〈舞动心弦杯〉比赛最高荣誉奖。

2009年12月6日
修改章程将产业由受托人转为会馆名下。

2010年11月20日及21日
承办第四十一届兴安总会全国代表大会,举行成立75周年晚宴,出版纪念特刊。耗资200万的会所大装修工程及张金钗礼堂落成开幕。8位乡长捐献8间行政活动中心。

2011年6月
林为鹤出任会长。

2012年8月
出版《兴安。金炎文丛》。

2012年11月
主办青少年莆田寻根团。

2013年5月
福利组成立同乡医药援助基金。

2013年11月
组团访问印尼同乡会。

2015年8月15-17日
举行80周年会庆晚宴,承办兴总第四十六届全国代表大会、莆田市东南亚经贸活动周、第六届世界兴安同乡恳亲大会及第七届世界莆商大会。

2016年9月10-20日
组织庞大回乡团,假莆田市希尔顿酒店庆祝81周年《弘扬文化聚乡情》纪念联欢晚宴。

2017年
拿督翁珑湬出任会长。

2017年12月
承办由兴安总会主办之《 第三届亚太区兴安华语卡拉OK会长杯友谊赛》。此届赛会获得超过数百名本地及远自印尼、台湾、新加坡的海外同乡热烈参与,以歌声交流联谊,至为可贵。

2018年2月
本会首次举办媒体之夜,招待50多名来自本地各中文报章媒体朋友,以感谢他们一直以来给予本会的支持。

2018年7月
由中国福建省莆仙戏剧院主办,本会与吉隆坡妈祖庙联办,假隆雪华堂呈献莆仙戏剧目《海神妈祖》演出。演出精彩,让人留下深刻的印象和难忘的回忆。

2019年8月2-4日
事隔9年后,本会青年团再次假白沙罗表演艺术中心 DPAC Damansara Perdana 举办2019年大马 <往 舞 点 最 >舞展。

2020年
拿督徐金文出任会长。

2021年7月-11月
成立 “疫中送暖 兴安有爱” 疫情援助基金,接济生活受困会员同乡,度过难关。

2022年12月
参与吧生滨海兴安会馆与仙境集团合作兴建位于仙境古城兴化祠计划,一座供兴化人百年归宿的骨灰阁。

 

 

 

Brief History :
Our Journey…

Xing Hua clan originates from the city of Putian ( which includes Putian, Xianyou, southern Fuqing Province), in the province of Fujian, China. They speak a common dialect which is unique and yet preserves the accent of a dialect spoken in the ancient China Proper, known as the dialect of Xing Hua or Pu Xian. Around late 19th century, the Xing Hua ancestors set foot in Selangor either singly or in groups. With their well bestowed physical strengths, most of these pioneers mainly involved themselves as manual workers or managing in trade of bicycles business or in tin mining. Slowly, they gained their way into the trades as suppliers or dealers of spare parts or electrical products.

1935
As early as 1934, the Xing Hua folks who were members of the Association of the Selangor Mobile Vehicles(the now Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Cycle & Motorcycles Dealers’ Association)saw the need to form an Association solely for the Xing Hua clan. As such Mr 杨兆琰 was elected as the Chairman for the Pro tem Committee. The other pioneering committees were姚金榜、王元勋、黄文棋、关龙金、童敏、彭玉珍。In 1935, the Selangor Shing An Association was officially set up. The premises of Ji He Bas Limited Company and the Association of the Selangor Mobile Vehicles were respectively used as the temporary offices for the newly formed Association.

1939
In 1939,a shop lot at No.6, Cinema Street, Kuala Lumpur was purchased at a sum of 13 thousand dollars to be used as the premise for the Association. The Pro tem Chairman being the prime key personnel was then elected as the President.

8/12/1941
With the outbreak of Asia-Pacific War was the Japan Occupation in Malaya. During this Japanese Occupation of a period of three years and eight months, all activities ceased. The premise of the Association was expropriated by Chu San Ship Building Company which was subsequently returned with the surrender of the Japanese government.

15/8/1945
Following the Recovery of Malaya after the Surrender, Mr 杨兆琰 resumed his tenure as the President, he then actively campaigned to raise funds for the renovation of the premise.

1/1/1946
Mr 姚瑞汉 was elected as the new President. During his tenure, the Association organized a celebration for the War victory, an inauguration ceremony for the New Board of Committee and also had the first celebration of Chinese New Year.

10/10/1946
An Opening Ceremony was held for the premise of the Association with Mr 许孟雄,The Consul from the China, to grace the ribbon cutting ceremony.

15/2/1947
The Association sponsored Mr 宋元模 as Chief editor for the publication of the ” Xinghua Literary Collections ” which contains approximately 26 million words. This move received eminent academic acclaims from the public. The Association also initiated evening classes known as Nan Chao Evening Classes to train mechanics. These courses were offered to youths who had dropped out from school or had left home to join the war.

1948
Mr 王元勋 was elected as the President for the Association.

30/9/1949
The British Colonial government required the Association to be re-registered. After three years, the approval was granted. In response to the call of the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, the Association participated against the British colonial government in respect of the Bills which were unfavorable to the interests of the Chinese such as the Migrants ( Control ) Act as well as the Visa Regulations to be imposed on the Chinese. It also advocated for the abolition of the Barnes Education Report, restrictions on parliamentary language, public sale of opium and so on . The Association actively encouraged its members to apply for citizenship and received a nearly 100% success of its call.

1957
Mr卢绍继 presided as President

31/8/1957
Malaya declared Independence. In response, Xing An folks joined in as citizens of Malaya, pledging loyalty to the country.

1959
The Association purchased two plots of land at Brickfields from Kuala Lumpur 三教堂 for the purpose of building a premise for the Association.

1963
Indonesia adopted a policy of Confrontation to Malaya. The Association took up the challenge and pledged loyalty to the government. The Association encouraged its fellow youths to join the local Civil Defense troops, to defend the homeland of Malaysia.

1/2/1964
The Association set up the Physical Education Wing, Master徐金栋 was employed to conduct Wu Shu training, it had attracted more than 100 members joining the Wing.

1966
Mr王堂鎔 was promoted to be the acting President. He then became President in the following year. The construction of the 4-storey building commenced and the construction costs amounted Two hundred and twenty four thousand dollars.
10/10/1967
The Association had its first distribution of cash prizes to children of members who had achieved outstanding academic results.

13/5/1969
There was an outbreak of racial conflicts in Kuala Lumpur.

8/6/1969
An Extra Ordinary General Meeting was called to amend the Constitutions of the Association whereby the Number of Trustees for the Properties of Association was reduced to four persons namely: Dato王廷杰、Mr杨理、Mr卢绍、and Mr王堂鎔。

12/9/1969
A total of Ten thousand nine hundred dollars was distributed to the victims of the incident of 513, to help ease the losses suffered.

1970
Mr 童玉锦 was elected as president. The new building was fully constructed and it was then rented out to Hotel Winner at a rate of RM2300 per month.

October 1971
The Association hosted the first National General Assembly for all Xing An Associations in Malaysia.

3/7/1972
The Fund Raising Committee for the National Xing An Association was formed in Melaka and Mr 童玉锦was elected as the Treasurer.

1974
The National Xing An Association set up a University Loan Foundation and the Association donated a sum of Eight thousand to the Foundation. In response to the National Day celebration, the Association changed its celebration day of Anniversary to 31 August.

1/2/1974
Following the demarcation and classification of Kuala Lumpur as a Federal Territory, the name of the Association was amended accordingly to Selangor Kuala Lumpur Shing An Association.

1975
Mr 杨锦福 was elected as the acting President.

1976
Mr 杨锦福 was elected President.

September 1978
The Association organized the 9th National General Meeting for all Representatives from all Xing An associations in the country, there upon Xing An Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd was formed with a total of 7 million 8 hundred thousands worth of shares for Cocoa cultivation in Tawau, Sabah. At the Extra Ordinary General Meeting, the motion for investment of a sum of Ringgit Malaysia Fifty thousand was passed.

6/11/1979
The Association mourned the loss of the untimely demise of its President Mr杨锦福and also the demise of its former President Mr卢绍. The funerals of the two former Presidents were held with grief on the same day.

27/12/1979
The Youth Wing was officially formed.

30/12/1979
Mr 关光明was elected President.

14/8/1981
EGM was held on 14/8/1014 to oppose Amendments unto the Societies Acts. In tandem to National Xing An Association, the Association applied to be a body of political status.

17/10/1982
The Youth Wing organized a grand Dinner for 1000 attendees and held its first inauguration ceremony for its Committee members to take office. A Commemorative Book was published to honor the event.

June 1984
The office was shifted from Cinema Street to occupy the upper floor of 三教堂 in Brickfields temporarily.

July 1984
Earth breaking ceremony was held to renovate the shop lot at Cinema Street; re-constructing it to a 5 storey building.

10/8/1984
The Youth Wing jointly organized a “Leadership Workshop and Training” at Mima Land with the Association.

6/7/1985
The Constitution was re-vamped with the approval of the Registrar of Societies.

30/11/1985
A Joint Celebration for the completion of the new building at Cinema Street cum the 50th Anniversary of the Association was held with publication of the Golden Jubilee commemorative book.

1/12/1985
The Association organized the 16th National General Assembly for all Xing An Associations in Malaysia.

1986
Dato 张德麟re-elected as President. Dato donated Ringgit Malaysia One hundred thousand to rebuild the second level of the building; converting it into a hall in memory of his late father which was named after his late father“张金钗”.

29/11/1987
The Ladies Wing was officially formed.

17/3/1990
The Association with the National Xing An Association co-organized “An Evening of Golden Trees”at Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur to bid Farewell to the President of National Xing An Association – Dato 林金树 and to welcome the newly elected President JP Mr童玉锦.

April 1990
Mr龚承烈was elected President, Mr 龚 donated Ringgit Malaysia Thirty thousand dollars to refurbish the hall at the ground level. The hall was then named after him.

1994
Mr黄金禄 was elected President.

1996
JP Mr黄玉添 was elected President

1998
JP Mr庄玉霖 was elected President

19/11/2000
Together with Malaysian Chinese Writers’ Association, organized and officiated the opening ceremony of the 7th ASEAN Literature Workshop at Kuala Lumpur Chinese Assembly Hall.

2001
The Ladies Wing organized a National Writing Competition with the theme of “Filial Piety and Respecting Elders” in honor of Dato童玉锦.

22/4/2001
The Youth Wing organized the first Xing An Cup, a Chinese Language Debating Competition for Secondary Schools in Selangor.

2002
Publication of the first Newsletter for the Association.

17/4/2002
Formation of Selangor Kuala Lumpur Xing An Association Choir.
October 2002
The Ladies Wing organized a National Writing Competition with the theme of “Filial Piety and Respecting Elders” in honor of JP Mr庄玉霖

April 2002
JP Mr陈春德 was elected President

June 2003
Setting up of Xing An Library which houses a collection of over a thousand books. Deputy Finance Minister Dato Ng Yen Yen was invited to initiate the opening ceremony.

October 2003
The Fujian Federation Congress cum 68th Association Anniversary Dinner was organized at Istana Hotel. The then Prime Minister Abdullah initiated the Opening Ceremony.

June 2004
Annual publication of “Xing An Literary Work” was launched with a series of six books in each publication per annum.

November 2004
The first “Xing An Literature Workshop” was held.

3/9/2005
The 70th Association Anniversary Dinner was held with publication of a commemorative book.

2006
Mr翁清玉was elected President

2008
The Youth Wing Dance Troup with the dance titled “Returning to the Origin” won the highest honorary award in the Dancing Competition〈舞动心弦杯〉with the highest award.

6/12/2009
The Constitutions was amended accordingly to enable perfection of transfer from trustees to Association as registered proprietor.

20 & 21 November 2010
Organized the 41st National General Assembly for all Xing An Associations in Malaysia, cum the 75th Association Anniversary Dinner with publication of Commemorative Book. Opening Ceremony for the newly renovated building and the Hall was held. The construction cost of Ringgit Malaysia two million was incurred.

June 2011
Mr林为鹤was elected President.

Publication of Xing An Literary Series 《 兴安。金炎文丛》.

Organising Putian trip for members’ children.

Setting up of medical welfare fund for members.

Paying visit to fellow association in Indonesia.

15-17 Aug 2015
Co-organising 46th National Assembly for all Xing An Associations in Malaysia, 莆田市东南亚经贸活动周、第六届世界兴安同乡恳亲大会及第七届世界莆商大会 in conjunction with association 80th Anniversay Celebration Dinner.

10-20 Sep 2016
Holding of 81th Annivesary Dinner in Double Tree by Hilton, Putian with attendance of huge number of members travelled abroad.

2017
Dato’ Ong Leong Chiou was elected President.

Dec 2017
Organizing the 3rd Heng Ann Asia-Pacific Chinese Karaoke Presidents Cup Friendship Competition hosted by the Federation of Heng Ann Associations Malaysia. The event was successful with strong turnout of hundreds of local fellow clan members and those from Indonesia, Taiwan and Singapore.

Feb 2018
For the first time, to hold a media appreciation night and hosted more than 50 local Chinese newspaper media friends to thank them for their support.

Jul 2018
To present jointly with 吉隆坡妈祖庙 PuXian drama (莆仙戏) titled “Sea Goddess Mazu” (海神妈祖) performed by Puxian Opera, Fujian, China (福建省莆仙戏剧院) at KLSCAH. The performance was wonderful leaving a deep impression and unforgettable memories to every audience.

Aug 2019
After 9 years,Youth Division is organizing again 2019 <往 舞 点 最 > Dance gala at DPAC Damansara Perdana.

2020
Dato’ See Kim Boon was elected President.

Setting up of Covid-19 fund to provide financial aid to members during the pandemic

Dec 2022
To participate in building of a columbarium named as “ Hin Hua Clan Temple “ in a collaboration between Persatuan Hin Ann Pantai Kelang Clan (PHAPK) & Fairy Park Group.
